Helping Children Cope with Community Trauma

June 10, 2021

When negative things happen in our community, they can cause feelings that are hard for everyone to manage, including your little ones.

BridgeWay has compiled some resources from the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (USA) to help you cope with your feelings throughout this time, as well as some guidelines to help you talk to your children. Just like it is OK to be happy with your children, it is OK (and healthy!) to be sad with them too. Remember that emotions are real and it is OK to say how you feel!
