National Day for Truth and Reconciliation: Community Gatherings and Places to Visit
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (also known as Orange Shirt Day), is acknowledged every year on September 30th. This is a day to honour children who never came home and the survivors of residential schools, as well as a reminder of the work we need to do to move towards reconciliation.
Many community gatherings take place throughout September for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. There are also places you can visit any time of year!
