About BridgeWay’s Programs

Preschool Time

During Preschool Time, children will come together to play, read stories and sing songs, all while practicing skills that will benefit them in school and beyond.

How does playing help children get ready for school?

Here are a few examples:

  • Playing with play dough exercises the small muscles in their hands and wrists which help with holding a pencil/crayon correctly as well as opening and closing lunch/snack containers.
  • Playing with their peers builds strong communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) and provides opportunities to solve conflicts independently.
  • Singing songs with numbers will help children with counting, and simple addition and subtraction.

Join Preschool Time where these experiences and so many others will be ready for your child to explore!

During Kids Can Cook, you will learn to make quick, easy, budget-friendly, and customizable recipes for you and your family! You and your child will work together to make nutritious snacks and meals. With you by their side, your child will take on the role of ‘little chef’, and together you will learn and bond in this fun and interactive environment!

This FREE program is presented for families with young children (2 to 6 years) who need extra support. Please contact [email protected] or call 647-702-6175 to find out if you qualify for the program.

Play and Learn

Does you child like to play freely and move from one activity to the next? Maybe they prefer to focus on one activity for a long time? Play and Learn is designed for children to explore and play in the way that suits them best!

When children play they are developing life-long skills that will help them to build healthy habits, create healthy relationships, develop communication skills, and so much more! Children learn best through play when they are able to explore their interests. At Play and Learn, children can play freely and engage in open-ended activities that support their:

  • motor skills,
  • literacy and language development,
  • social-emotional learning,
  • understanding of math and science,
  • problem solving skills, and
  • critical thinking skills.

Play in the Park

Nature is our playground! During Play in the Park, we bring the fun to a local, community park. Come meet us to play, sing songs, and explore the outdoors!

Play in the Park gives families the opportunity to connect with one another as well as their community. Together, we’ll explore nature, enjoy messy and sensory play such as water, sand and paint, and have lots of opportunities for physical activity.
