Did you know that one to two year old children should have no screen time and spend at least 180 minutes a day doing a variety of physical activities? Yet since the pandemic, parents and caregivers are worried that children are spending more time in front of screens and less time outside playing. In this workshop, we’ll talk about the impact of screen time and regular exercise on the brains and bodies of growing children. We’ll also provide parents with suggestions to encourage their kids to reduce screen time and develop the fundamental skills of sports/physical literacy that will help them lead healthier lives.
