About Programs for Dads

Just for Dads

Join us at Just for Dads where you can connect with other fathers that are also learning more about their role as a parent. Come share your thoughts and concerns about parenting, ask questions, and meet other dads in your community.

Just For Dads is open only to fathers who are expecting a baby or have a child birth to 6 years of age.

Playtime with Dad
Join Playtime With Dad to play and bond with your child while meeting other dads in your community. Together, you and your child will explore a variety of activities, which may include:
  • sensory play (such as water and sand),
  • active play,
  • creative play (such as painting),
  • singing songs,
  • reading stories,
  • and MORE!
This program is for dads with children birth to 6 years. Even if your child can’t participate in every activity, we encourage you to come and meet other dads while exploring the activities that are developmentally appropriate – there’s something for everyone, newborns too!

Speak to an EarlyON Resource Consultant

EarlyON Resource Consultants (ERCs) from EveryMind visit BridgeWay’s EarlyON centres to chat with you and answer any questions you might have about your child’s development. They can provide helpful information and strategies, and refer you to specialized resources if needed.

To connect with an ERC, ask a staff member to find out when they’ll be visiting the centre next or call the Child Development Supports Booking Line: 905-795-3527, x 3550.

Our workshops feature a diverse group of guests who provide information and guide conversations to support you and your family’s needs.

Infant Feeding Support

Do you have questions about breastfeeding/chestfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, formula feeding or combo feeding? Our Registered Lactation Consultant provides free infant feeding support at EarlyON Centres. Parents and caregivers with infants can drop in to ask questions and share concerns. Our lactation consultant will help guide you through your infant feeding goals.
