About BridgeWay’s Family Programs
Family Time
Join us for a fun, family program where children of all ages (birth to 6 years) can play, read stories, sing songs, and learn together! During Family Time, children will have the opportunity to participate at their own pace in this inclusive environment.
Family Time activities may include:
- sensory play (like water or musical instruments),
- active play,
- creative play (such as painting or drawing),
- pretend play,
- loose parts (like building blocks),
- and MORE!

Drop In
Drop In is a child-led play time for families with children birth to 6 years. See the world through your child’s eyes as they lead you to the toys, books, and activities they want to explore! Play with your child or stay close by as they play with other children. You can connect with parents and caregivers in your community and chat with staff. The toys and activities in our centres are carefully selected for children birth to 6 so that every child can learn through play while building confidence in their skills and abilities.

Music and Movement
Music and Movement is a program that focuses on physical activity with the support of music! In this program, children are encouraged to move in ways that will challenge them and build confidence in their abilities. Together, we will move and groove to our favourite songs while using a variety of props, such as puppets, a parachute, or musical instruments.

Family Kitchen
Family Kitchen offers parents with children (birth to 6 years of age) an opportunity to learn cooking skills and prepare nutritious, budget-friendly meals. While you cook with other parents, your child will enjoy playing with a variety fun toys, books and activities. You and your child will come together for the remainder of the program to bond over a delicious meal!

Every child and family has different needs when it comes to diet and food and it can be difficult to find the information you need online. During Dietitian Chat, our Registered Dietitian drops in to talk to parents and caregivers about their family’s nutrition. You can ask questions and get answers that are specific to your family’s needs.

Speak to an EarlyON Resource Consultant
EarlyON Resource Consultants (ERCs) from EveryMind visit BridgeWay’s EarlyON centres to chat with you and answer any questions you might have about your child’s development. They can provide helpful information and strategies, and refer you to specialized resources if needed.

Parenting Workshops
Parents who are expecting a baby or have a child birth to 6 years of age can connect with each other and special guest speakers while discussing a wide range of parenting topics. Our workshops feature a diverse group of guests who provide information and guide conversations to support you and your family’s needs.
