Black Families Connect: Intergenerational Trauma to Intergenerational Healing

Register today!

During this workshop, we will have meaningful discussions about the impact of intergenerational trauma, our disconnection from emotions, and how this impacts ourselves and our families. We will then shift our focus towards intergenerational healing where we will consider how to acknowledge and feel our emotions, as well as how to acknowledge and hold space for our partners’ and kids’ emotions (especially when they conflict with our own).

This free workshop is for parents with children birth to 6 years of age (older siblings are welcome). Dinner is provided (served at 5:30 PM)

Supporting Your Child’s Development: Knowing When to Reach Out

Worrying about your child’s development is a natural part of parenting. We want to see our kids thrive, and thinking that they may not be developing at the “right pace” can cause a lot of parents to worry. While every child develops at a different pace, you know your child best and there may be a point where you feel the need to reach out to someone about your concerns.

Supporting your child’s development can be tough to navigate, so we worked with our EarlyON Resource Consultants from EveryMind to outline some situations where it might make sense to reach out for support. Read more >
