Kids Can Cook

During Kids Can Cook, you will learn to make quick, easy, budget-friendly, and customizable recipes for you and your family! You and your child will work together to make nutritious snacks and meals. With you by their side, your child will take on the role of ‘little chef’, and together you will learn and bond in this fun and interactive environment!

This FREE program is presented for families with young children (2 to 6 years) who need extra support. Please contact [email protected] or call 647-702-6175 to find out if you qualify for the program.

Music and Movement

Music and Movement is a program that focuses on physical activity with the support of music! In this program, children are encouraged to move in ways that will challenge them and build confidence in their abilities. Together, we will move and groove to our favourite songs while using a variety of props, such as puppets, a parachute, or musical instruments.

Dim the Lights

For many children, walking into our centres can be overwhelming, especially when the centre is filled with people, toys, and noise. Dim the Lights provides children with a quieter space to play and learn as well as a less stimulating space to adapt to the environment. During this program, you and your child can explore the centre or program room with reduced sensory stimulation. We keep the space as quiet as possible by playing calming music (or no music at all), removing loud toys, and singing softly during circle time. Support and information about child development and behaviour will be available through our partnering agencies and BridgeWay staff.
