Heartwarming Children’s Books by Indigenous Authors & Illustrators

It’s Indigenous History Month! BridgeWay staff have read and reflected on some children’s books by Indigenous authors and/or illustrators. Click here for a list of books and what stood out to each staff member as they read through the story on their own or with children and families. We hope you enjoy these stories as much as we do!

We Are Family (LGBTQ2S+ Family Time)

Come meet other families from the LGBTQ2S+ community and connect with each other while you and your children play together in the centre. Join us for conversations and a family circle!

This program takes place Sundays, bi-weekly. The next progam date is June 25th, 10:00am-12:00pm. Future dates will be posted here.

Baby Wearing Workshop

Your baby is here, and LOVES to be held and cuddled and to sleep on your chest! Join us for this online parenting workshop and learn how to safely wear your baby in a carrier, so you can meet their intense attachment needs while stealing a hands-free break for yourself! Learn about wraps, slings, Mei Tais, and structured carriers to discover what the best fit is for you, or learn the safest, most comfortable ways to use the carrier you already have.
